Who we are

Eat Invasive was created in 2024 by two brothers, Tom and Rob. Tom and Rob grew up hunting and fishing and both joined the military out of high school. Their military careers required them to be stationed around the U.S. and exposed them to many hunting and fishing opportunities in amazing locations. In 2020 Tom was living in Hawaii chasing wild goats and pigs by land and fish at sea. He often found himself filling his cooler with roi, to’au, and ta’ape, all of which are invasive. That’s when the dream was born.

Fast forward to 2023 Tom was living in Florida and Rob was visiting for the opener of archery season. Tom had a cheap blade orange hat with a hand drawn pig, it said “Eat Invasive” across the top. It was not long after that the company was made.

We both love to spend time out doors, we love to cook, and we love to eat. There are so many incredible ways to prepare wild game, invasive or not, but we noticed a lot of people dismiss invasive species as edible. We want to encourage people to not only target invasive species, but also utilize the resource.
